The wife of the Chairman, Uyo Local Government Area, Mrs Akaninyene Uwemedimo, celebrated the graduation of beneficiaries at the I&I Fashion Republic training programme, reaffirming the administration's women and commitment to youth empowerment through skills acquisition and entrepreneurship.
The colourful ceremony featured runway presentations, certificate awards, and the presentation of start-up packs to all 30 graduates, while five outstanding trainees received industrial sewing machines to support their businesses, further promoting self-reliance and economic growth in Uyo.
