In commemoration of World Menstrual Hygiene Day 2025, the Wife of the Chairman of Uyo Local Government Area, Mrs. Akaninyene Uwemedimo Udo, led sensitisation campaign targeting students in special education institutions.
She emphasised the need for young girls to understand and prioritise personal hygiene, especially during menstruation.
