Hails from Nung Asang Ikono in Uyo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
Attended Government Primary School, Atu Street – Calabar, Cross River State and obtained the First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC).
Also attended Army Day Secondary School, Ikot Ansa, Calabar Cross River State and obtained the Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSSC).
Proceeded to the University of Uyo to study Political Science and Administration and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree and later a Master’s Degree, (MSc) in Public Administration. Currently pursuing a Doctorate Degree in Public Administration in the same University
Worked with Akwa Ibom Property and Investments Company and grew through the ranks to the position of Head of General Duties Unit. Served in various committees, handling various sensitive assignments for the Government. Currently serving as the Secretary, Uyo Local Government for a second term.
Has a good taste of the private sector as pioneer Business Development Manager (BDM) of Faduk Resources Industries Limited, a foremost indigenous conglomerate which had many local, national and foreign professionals with very high competitive skills, engaged in fulltime manufacturing and other services.

Fellow, Institute of Corporate Administration (ICAD)
Fellow, Chattered Institute of Public Administration of Nigeria (CIPAN) with multiple appearance at the annual conferences and annual mandatory professional retreats.
Member, Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM)
Has attended various professional Courses, Workshops and Seminars on Administration, Management, Protocol and leadership.
