The Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Akwa Ibom State Chapter, has extended hearty congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Pastor Umo Eno on their emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential and gubernatorial candidates respectively for the 2027 general elections.
In a statement signed by ALGON Akwa Ibom Chairman, Dr. Uwemedimo E. Udo, the group described the victories at the recently concluded APC primaries as “well-deserved,” reflecting the confidence of party members in the leadership and vision of both leaders.
The statement reads in part: “This well-deserved victory reflects the confidence and trust the party and the people continue to place in your leadership, vision, and capacity to deliver.”
Dr. Udo praised the “consistent commitment to good governance” by both Tinubu and Eno, noting the steady progress being recorded at both the federal and state levels.
The ALGON leadership further reaffirmed their loyalty to the APC, pledging to mobilise strong grassroots support across Akwa Ibom State to secure victory for the party in the 2027 polls.
