As part of efforts to promote a cleaner and healthier environment, the Chairman of Uyo Local Government Area, Dr Uwemedimo Udo, today led members of the Service Alone team in a cleanup exercise at the Council Secretariat during the statewide environmental sanitation exercise.
Dr Udo urged everyone to embrace regular sanitation practices, emphasising that a clean environment is a shared responsibility.
The leadership of NULGE, Uyo Branch, joined the Council Chairman and other council officials in the cleanup exercise.
